Located 26 miles north, northeast from Mineola, Winnsboro has a population of close to 3,500 people. It began as a settlement in the 1850’s with the post office being established in 1854. Winnsboro supports the Art’s as the city has more murals, wall paintings, and community art than any other city in Wood County!

This tractor sits at the entrance to the Winnsboro Farmers Market for all to see. It's located at the corner of S Main and E Carnegie Street.

The Bakery is located at 219 E Broadway. These murals can be found on the sides of the building.
Just beyond Sinclair Market on S Main you will find this street art of butterflies.
Located on the side of the Center for the Arts building is this Guitar painted by Dennis Howard. This is the site for the New Performance Hall.

Brick Flag When Doc's Small Engine Repair operated out of 402 N Main Street this American Flag helped people find him.
A half a block north of E Broadway on N Main on the left is this alley.
301 Market Street is where this beautiful hand painted display can be found. A bit off the beaten path but worth the visit.
On either end of The Bowery you will find a depiction of a keyboard in this example of Street Art. At the end of the block is the Culture Club Art Gallery at 107 E. Elm where you will see a multi colored art display across the building.
Hamilton One of our citizens saw a performance of Hamilton and came back and painted these murals. This is in a small back alley with back entrances to three separate buildings. These are behind 115 Elms St. and directly across the street from McCrary's.
Located at 200 Main Street. This mural is almost hidden behind the performing art structures.

Z's Main Street Treats and Eats Heading north on Highway 37 into downtown you will see this mural at 210 N. Main on the south side of the building. Together We Bloom The Together We Bloom selfie mural is between Winnsboro Center for the Arts and its Annex Building on the Bowery in Winnsboro, TX. Twenty local artists worked on the project and completed it on April 1st. The Jaci Mouser design is a bright splash of color welcoming springtime. The finishing touches are the work of Dennis Howard and Riley Alexander. Dairy Queen The Dairy Queen is located at the corner of W. Bexley and Highway 37. This mural can be found on the south wall. Be sure to check it out!
The Bowery was established in 1884. This area of restaurants and shops can be entered from either E. Broadway and Market St or E. Elm and Market Street. About halfway down the block you will find your "Connections to the Bowery".
McCrary's Hardware Check out R.H. McCrary Hardware located on the corner of N. Franklin and E. Elm. Entering town from the south, headed north on highway 37, as you enter Old Town Winnsboro Hwy 37 becomes Main St. Cross the main intersection at E.
