Located 26 miles north, northeast from Mineola, Winnsboro has a population of close to 3,500 people. It began as a settlement in the 1850’s with the post office being established in 1854. Winnsboro supports the Art’s as the city has more murals, wall paintings, and community art than any other city in Wood County!

Together We Bloom The Together We Bloom selfie mural is between Winnsboro Center for the Arts and its Annex Building on the Bowery in Winnsboro, TX. Twenty local artists worked on the project and completed it on April 1st. The Jaci Mouser design is a bright splash of color welcoming springtime. The finishing touches are the work of Dennis Howard and Riley Alexander.
